The Road to Success

In 2010, Kyle Forgeard co-founded a YouTube channel known as Nelk with his twin friends Marco and Niko Martinovic. Initially, they named the channel NelkFilmz but later shortened it to Nelk.

Nelk first attracted attention with the video labeled “Coke Prank on Cops.” Kyle, Niko, and Marko led police officers to believe that they were selling cocaine. The trio was handcuffed and detained. Upon searching the vehicle, the officers found coca-cola cans rather than cocaine. The Los Angeles Police Department issued a public statement categorizing the prank as an illegal activity to prevent other inspired copycats from doing the same.

The Nelk members coined the colloquial phrase “Full Send.” Forgeard trademarked it and established it as an entertainment brand along with other members. The term was explained by Forgeard, who said, “whatever activity you perform, give it your best.” Forgeard and his friends launched the Full Send clothing line, which features a range of various limited-edition merchandise.

The Nelk group has had many altercations with the authorities of multiple countries. In 2020, Forgeard and other Nelk members orchestrated a 200-man flash mob at Illinois State University. As the gathering was a direct violation of COVID-19 regulations, the police department took action against them. As a result, YouTube demonetized the Nelk youtube channel.

Nelk now relies on its direct-to-consumer merchandise business, making more than enough income. Since 2021, they have their own hard seltzer brand called Happy Dad. Forgeard currently manages and appears on the Full Send podcast, which was established under Shots Studios.
